P'tite quenaille et chin gaté’, theatrical songs for adults
La Petite Quenaille’ is Babeth's memory of the nursery rhyme she heard from her great-grandmother, who used to sing the story of the little quenaille in Saintongeais.
It's also about holidays with her grandparents in the south of Aunis, with all those expressions handed down from generation to generation.

Chin-Gaté’ is what Didier used to call young children, with a lot of tenderness, when they were a bit boisterous. He heard this language, this Poitevin patois, as it was called at the time, while he was still in his mother's womb. It wasn't until the age of 5, when he started school, that he had to learn French, but above all unlearn what was his mother tongue. Didier and Babeth share with you some of their lives, made up of joy and sadness, but always full of emotion.
