WEDNESDAY 17 JULY at 9pm: "L'HIBERNÉ DU VÉSINET" by Le Théâtre de l'Alchimiste
Loosely based on the play Hibernatus by Jean-Bernard Luc Au Vésinet, 2024. The Tartas family, like the rest of the world, is stunned by the news. Professor Loriébat, a hibernation specialist, has just resuscitated a man who has been trapped in a block of ice since 1900. The subject, whose memory is still full of gaps, naturally spoke of his parents and his family home. He was Paul Fournier, great-great-grandfather of Madame de Tartas. To preserve the patient's mental health, all the inhabitants of Le Vésinet were forced to live in the style of 1900. The Tartas family are at the centre of an extraordinary event: in 124 years, many, many things have changed. As well as the comedy of the situations and the anachronisms, the thawing of a great-great-grandfather who takes himself for a son is not devoid of fear, emotion and contradictory feelings.
Directed and adapted by Sophie Aprea
Acting by Anne-Sophie Andréani, Sophie Arnoult, Mickael Bibard, Annie Fiquet, Anne-France Papazian, David Perrier, Marie Poirier, Joseph Verfaillie, Valérie Verschueren
