The brass trio's creation is a blend of compositions, arrangements and improvisations based on the soundtrack to the cartoon of our childhood. A Mowgli dancer and a stage manager-performer accompany the musicians in this adventure, which is part concert, part contemporary choreography and part theatre of gestures. The characters from Rudyard Kipling's book come to life in a musical ballet that is epic, jubilant, zany, poetic and wordless, but not without its slapstick humour.
Created in 2006 by Sylvain Bardiau, Frédéric Gastard and Matthias Mahler, the trio practise improvisation and the joys of the 'banda' with a rare complicity, travelling freely through a borderless inspiration, mixing original compositions and adventurous arrangements, blowing a delicate and wild music, which dances, sings, whispers and shouts, with only one requirement: to plunge its audience into the delights of an inexhaustible and superbly electrifying sound palette. An ode to imagination, creation and freedom. "Bear talk, that's what I call swing!
