Summer symphony festival

Now in its 9th year, Symphonie d'été takes place from 5 to 8 August 2025.

The festival kicks off to the sound of Zalindê's pounding drums as we stroll through Fouras town centre.
The old fortification, La Redoute de l'Aiguille, opens its doors under the last rays of sunshine for a moment of suspension with a recital by young pianist Stella Almondo on Wednesday 6 August.
In the evenings, head to the Salons du Parc, sheltered under the evergreen oaks, for 4 very different musical evenings.
On Tuesday 5 August, take a trip around the world with the passionate string quartet Duplessy & The Violins of the World.
The following day, Wednesday 6 August, Lambert Wilson's words are set to the notes of harpist Xavier de Maistre's “Nuit Fantastique”.
On Thursday 7 August, soprano Catherine Trottmann takes us on a lyrical journey through opera and operetta!
Symphonie d'été closes on Friday 8 August with the highly publicised violinist
Esther Abrami and her ‘Cinéma’ programme, a link woven between the general public and classical music.
