Theatre: Lovers' Chorus

Tiago Rodrigues, a major figure in European theatre, will take over the direction of the Avignon Festival in 2023. His theatre is essentially based on actors and transforms life stories into a poetry of reality. Two young lovers, confronted with a life-and-death situation, simultaneously tell us slightly different, pressurised versions of the same story, celebrating love when everything is in question.
