A multidisciplinary artist, she trained as a painter in Germany, learned engraving in François Verdier's workshop in Niort, typography and book techniques with Djamel Meskache in La Roche-sur-Yon.
More recently, the artist also creates textile works such as giant dresses on which she embroiders texts. Through various means of plastic expression, Eva Demarelatrous inscribes advertising messages or ephemeral tags present in cities in order to immortalise them but also to denounce current society.
Gérard Lhériteau lives and works in La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime.
After several varied professional experiences, he has devoted himself entirely to plastic creation since 2010.
His work is a mixture of recuperation of elements from nature (branches, leather, bamboo, ...) and elements of everyday life sometimes despised (used tea bags, sponges, road maps competed by GPS, ...), which take shape as installations.
"My approach is that of an artist who is a witness to his time. I feed off the facts of society (immigration, attacks, ecology...) to translate them into the material and form that seem to me artistically and poetically the most relevant. - Gérard Lhériteau.
