Paddling up the Charente estuary : Together let's paddle against disability

  • It's a nautical walk, starting from Port des Barques (25km) or Soubise (14km) with a finish in Tonnay-Charente.
    It's a friendly, eco-responsible and, above all, supportive event. Our motto is ‘Let's paddle together against disability’.

    All proceeds go towards improving access for people with reduced mobility.

    Use of profits from previous editions:

    The first edition enabled us to co-finance a hoist to provide access to watercraft for people with reduced mobility, for the Rochefort...

    > The second edition enabled us to co-finance a joëlette for the Tonnay-Charente running club,

    > The third edition was dedicated to the purchase of a bathing chair for the commune of Port des Barques.

    > In 2022, we co-financed a wheelchair for Rose, an association called Le Rêve de Rose.

    > Finally, in 2023, we sponsored Véronique Prouteau, a para-athlete, for her participation in various competitions and in the Marathon pour Tous, Paris 2024.
