Reading in the vegetable garden: Journey to the Holy Land

In 1894, Pierre Loti decided to go to the Holy Land. By crossing Mount Sinai, Jerusalem or Nazareth, he secretly hoped to rediscover his lost faith, but this journey would be a "disappointing pilgrimage". He brought back three books from his journey: "The Desert", "Jerusalem" and "Galilee" which we invite you to discover.
